1) What does the Corbin Russwin ML2022 store door function actually do when someone tries the door?
ML2022 is ANSI F14 store door function. With the deadbolt retracted, the latchbolt works by grip from either side, so the door is push-pull free. Key from either side throws or retracts the deadbolt, and a key from either side also retracts the latchbolt. It is a non-panic release, meaning nothing inside retracts the deadbolt without a key.
2) Is a double cylinder store door lock legal on an occupied space exit door?
Understand what you are buying before you spec it: the ML2022 is keyed on both sides with a non-panic release, so nobody gets the deadbolt open from inside without a key. That is fine on stockrooms, mechanical rooms, and storefronts locked from the inside after hours, but many jurisdictions prohibit key-operated locking on a required egress door from an occupied space. If the opening needs free egress, choose a single-cylinder or thumbturn function instead.

4) Will the ML2022 latch into the strike already in my frame?
