Commercial-Grade Classroom Holdback Mortise Lock for High-Traffic Institutional Applications

The Corbin Russwin ML2056-LL is a Grade 1 Classroom Holdback Mortise Lockbody from the ML2000 Series, engineered to meet the demanding requirements of commercial, institutional, industrial, and government environments. Conforming to ANSI function F06, this lockbody allows the latchbolt to be operated by grip from either side unless the outside grip is locked or unlocked by key, and the latchbolt can be held in a retracted (holdback) position by key or released by key. Constructed of heavy-gauge steel with a 1" stainless steel deadbolt and patented Quick Reversible latchbolt, the ML2056-LL is designed for 1-3/4" (44mm) door thickness and is field reversible for flexible installation. Note: Not approved for use on U.L. fire listed applications.
