1) Which SureTrace receivers does the IDEAL CR-959 cradle hold?
The CR-959 cradle is made for the IDEAL SureTrace receivers RC-955 and RC-959. If you are running either of those receivers, this is the matching cradle. It holds the receiver only, not the transmitter.
2) Can I put the IDEAL CR-959 cradle on an extension pole to trace circuits in a ceiling?
Yes, that is what it is built for. The CR-959 is threaded to accept a standard extension pole, so you can drop the RC-955 or RC-959 receiver into it and reach conduit runs above a drop ceiling or in an open plenum without a ladder.
3) Is the CR-959 a complete circuit tracer, or do I need to buy the receiver separately?
It is an accessory, not a tracer. The CR-959 is just the cradle that carries the receiver on a pole. You still need the SureTrace receiver itself (RC-955 or RC-959) and the matching transmitter to actually trace or identify a circuit.

No pole is included. The CR-959 is the cradle alone, threaded to mate with a standard extension pole you supply, the same kind of threaded pole used for paint rollers and similar reach tools.
