Yes. The Dearborn P9665 is a 1-1/2 inch 45 degree elbow with slip joint ends, so it mates with standard 1-1/2 inch tubular waste pipe using a slip nut and washer at each joint. It is not a solvent weld or threaded fitting.
2) Is the P9665 slip joint elbow plastic or metal, and what color is it?
It's white PVC, not chrome tubular brass. That makes it the right pick where the trap assembly is hidden in a cabinet or wall, and the wrong pick on exposed pedestal or wall-hung sink work where a chrome finish is expected.
