Delaney Hardware 512008 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Does the Delaney Denali 1100 Series towel bar post come with the bar itself?
No. The Denali 1100 Series Towel Bar Post Only is the post (mounting bracket) by itself, sold without the bar. Order it when you need to replace a damaged or missing post on an existing Denali 1100 towel bar, or when you need a matching pair of posts. If you need a complete assembly, look at a full towel bar set instead, such as the Sure-Loc Baden or Orca Hardware Camano 24 inch towel bar set.
2) Will a Denali 1100 post fit a towel bar from another brand?
Treat it as a Denali 1100 Series part only. The post is sized to the Denali 1100 bar, and other brands, including Deltana 55D and 88 Series or Emtek Transitional Brass, use their own bar diameters and bracket patterns. If your existing bar is not a Denali 1100, replace the whole set rather than mixing posts.
3) I need to hang two towels in one spot - is the Delaney Denali 1100 Series towel bar post the right part?
The Delaney Denali 1100 Series Towel Bar Post Only is a single post component for a single-bar arrangement. For a two-bar arrangement, double towel bars include the Emtek Sandcast Bronze Brass Double Towel Bar and the Emtek Traditional Brass Double Towel Bar.
4) Is the Denali 1100 towel bar post rated for commercial restrooms?
It is a residential-grade item. For a hotel, school, or high-traffic public restroom, specify commercial washroom accessories instead. For apartments, condos, and single-family rentals it is the right class of product, and buying posts separately lets a property manager keep spares on hand for turnover repairs.
5) Can I change the length of my Denali towel bar by ordering posts?
No. The posts set the ends; the bar between them fixes the span. Changing length means a different bar, not different posts. If you are re-spacing studs or moving to a longer run, order a complete set in the length you need, such as the Sure-Loc Boulder in 18, 24, or 30 inch.
6) For a 30 inch towel bar run in an apartment turnover, what should I look at alongside Delaney Denali hardware?
Two towel bars reach 30 inches: the Sure-Loc Boulder, offered in 18, 24 or 30 inch lengths, and the Sure-Loc Brighton at 30 inches. The Sure-Loc Baden is also offered in 18, 24 or 30 inch. The Delaney Denali 1100 Series Towel Bar Post Only supplies the post alone, which is the part to order when a bar is intact and only the mounting post needs replacing.
7) What is a plainer, no-frills alternative to a decorative towel bar set like Orca's Swirl or Blakely?
The Sure-Loc Basic Towel Bar sits in the Basic series and is the straightforward option next to patterned sets such as the Orca Hardware 36 Series Swirl Towel Bar Set and the Orca Hardware 48 Series Blakely Towel Bar Set. Orca also offers the 27 Series Cypress swirl towel bar set.
