1) Which Delta Breez fans does the SLM-DGL designer grille fit?
The SLM-DGL grille attaches to Delta Breez SLM50, SLM70, SLM70H, ITG50, ITG80, ITG70BT, ITG80H, and ITG100 fans. It mounts straight to the fan housing with torsion springs, so it swaps in place of the standard grille with no change to the housing or ductwork. If your fan is not one of those models, this is the wrong grille.
2) How big is the Delta Breez SLM-DGL grille, and will it cover my existing ceiling opening?
The grille measures 10-3/4 by 10-3/4 inches. It is a square cover for the BreezSlim and ITG housings it is listed for, so it covers the same opening the standard grille does on those fans. Measure your existing grille first: if what is on the ceiling now is not one of those Delta housings, the 10-3/4 inch square face is not a guaranteed cover-up.
3) Can I replace just the grille on a Delta BreezSlim fan without pulling the fan out of the ceiling?
Yes. The SLM-DGL is a face grille only, held on by torsion springs that clip into the fan housing. You pull the existing grille down, unhook the springs, and hook the new one in.
