Deltana BBN2002/18 Towel Bar, 18", BBN Series

It's an 18 inch bar, and each mounting post has a 1-3/4 inch base, so plan the wall run accordingly plus the post bases at each end. It stands 3 inches off the finished wall, which is the clearance you need in front of the mounting surface for a towel to hang without rubbing a door swing or shower glass.

Not brass. The BBN bar is zinc and aluminum, which is why the series is priced as an economy bath line. If a project spec calls for solid brass, look at the Emtek brass bath hardware instead, such as the Emtek Modern Brass Towel Bar or the Emtek Transitional Brass Towel Bar.

The Deltana BBN2002/18 is an 18 inch bar. For a wider run, the Delaney Congaree 200 Series towel bar set is a 24 inch set, the Orca Hardware Camano 24 inch towel bar set is also 24 inch, and the Sure-Loc Brighton is a 30 inch towel bar. Sure-Loc Baden and Boulder both reach 30 inch as well.

The Sure-Loc Baden towel bar is offered in 18 inch, 24 inch and 30 inch lengths, so it covers the same 18 inch bar length as the Deltana BBN2002/18. The Sure-Loc Boulder towel bar is also offered in 18 inch, 24 inch and 30 inch. The Deltana BBN2002/18 is a zinc and aluminum bar with a 1-3/4 inch base width and 3 inch projection, so verify post footprint and projection against the existing wall anchors before swapping.

Two: Brushed Nickel and Polished Chrome. If you're matching existing trim across a bathroom or a whole property, pick the one that lines up with the faucets and door hardware already in place, since only these two are offered in the BBN bar.

Deltana classifies the BBN2002/18 as commercial, so it's suited to multi-family units, hotel baths, and similar rental turns where you're outfitting many identical bathrooms. It's a zinc and aluminum economy bar, not a heavy cast piece, so for high-abuse public restrooms a heavier material is the better call.

Yes. The BBN2002/18 belongs to the Deltana BBN bathroom series, a collection of coordinating bath accessories in the same zinc and aluminum construction, so you can outfit a bathroom from one family and keep the finish consistent across the towel bar and the other pieces.

Yes. The Deltana BBN2002/18 is made of zinc and aluminum. If you want brass, Emtek offers the Modern Brass Towel Bar and the Transitional Brass Towel Bar as single-bar units, and the Traditional Brass Double Towel Bar and Sandcast Bronze Brass Double Towel Bar as double bars.

The Deltana BBN2002/18 is sold as a complete 18 inch towel bar. If you only need a component, the Delaney Cascade 300 Series is sold as a towel bar only in a square profile, and the Delaney Denali 1100 Series is sold as a towel bar post only. Those are component items rather than substitutes for a full bar assembly, so confirm the existing hardware series before ordering either.

The Deltana BBN2002/18 is a straight bar in the BBN series, offered in Brushed Nickel and Polished Chrome. For a decorative profile, Orca Hardware offers the 36 Series Blakely-style swirl towel bar sets - specifically the 36 Series Swirl Towel Bar Set and the 27 Series Swirl Towel Bar Set, plus the 48 Series Blakely Towel Bar Set and the Acadia 900 Series towel bar set from Delaney.

The Deltana BBN2002/18 is itself a value-oriented zinc and aluminum bar rated for commercial use. If you want a plainer option to standardize across units, the Sure-Loc Basic towel bar is the entry profile in that line, and the Sure-Loc Baden and Boulder bars come in 18, 24 and 30 inch so one style can cover several bath sizes.
