Deltana BBN2004/30 Towel Bar, 30", BBN Series

The BBN2004/30 is a 30 inch towel bar with mounting posts measuring 1-3/4 inches at the base and a 3 inch projection off the wall. Plan the 3 inch projection into your clearance if it goes on a wall opposite a swinging door or beside a vanity edge.

For the same 30 inch run, the Sure-Loc Brighton is a 30 inch towel bar, and the Sure-Loc Baden and Boulder are each offered at 30 inch as well. Those are the direct length equivalents; the BBN2004/30 stays the pick when you want the zinc/aluminum BBN styling to match other BBN bath accessories on the job.

The BBN2004/30 is fixed at 30 inches, so on a narrow wall look to a 24-inch bar instead. The Delaney Congaree 200 Series 24-inch towel bar set and the Orca Hardware Camano 24-inch towel bar set are both sold at that length, and the Sure-Loc Baden and Boulder bars are offered in 18 and 24 inch as well as 30. The 18-inch Sure-Loc options are the shortest choice if the run between a vanity and a door casing is tight.

The Deltana BBN2004/30 is a 30-inch towel bar in the BBN Series, made of zinc and aluminum. For the same 30-inch length from another line, Sure-Loc offers the Baden towel bar in 18, 24 or 30 inch, the Boulder towel bar in 18, 24 or 30 inch, and the Brighton towel bar in 30 inch. All three cover the same bar length, so the choice comes down to which styling you want on the posts.

The BBN2004/30 is a zinc and aluminum bar from Deltana's BBN bathroom accessory series. If you want brass, Emtek offers the Modern Brass towel bar and the Transitional Brass towel bar as single-bar units, plus the Traditional Brass double towel bar and the Sandcast Bronze brass double towel bar if you want two bars on one set of posts. Brass is the material change; the double-bar Emtek units also change how much wall the fixture occupies vertically.

No. The BBN2004/30 is a complete 30-inch towel bar, while the Delaney Denali 1100 Series item is a towel bar post only, meaning a mounting post without the bar. The Delaney Cascade 300 Series square item is the opposite case, a towel bar only. Those two are replacement components for existing Delaney sets, not a standalone fixture for a bare wall. If you are outfitting a new bathroom, order a full bar or set.

Construction is zinc and aluminum, with zinc as the primary substrate, and Deltana classifies the BBN series as commercial-grade bath accessory hardware. It is the affordable end of the line rather than solid brass, so for heavy-abuse public restrooms many buyers step up to a brass bar such as the Emtek Modern Brass Towel Bar. For multi-family units and guest baths the zinc/aluminum BBN holds up fine.

Polished Chrome is the finish on the BBN2004/30. If your other bath fittings are chrome it will match; if you are working in bronze or satin brass, look at the Emtek Sandcast Bronze or Traditional Brass double towel bars instead.

Yes. The BBN2004/30 belongs to Deltana's BBN bathroom series, a collection of bath accessories built in the same zinc and aluminum construction, so towel bars, rings and paper holders from that series carry the same styling. Specify the Polished Chrome finish across the room so the parts match.

The BBN2004/30 is rated for commercial use and comes in polished chrome, which makes it a common choice for repeatable unit packages. If you want a single vendor across several lengths, Sure-Loc's Baden and Boulder bars each cover 18, 24 and 30 inch within one styling family, so a fleet of bathrooms with different wall runs still matches. Orca Hardware offers full towel bar sets in the 27-Cypress, 36-Swirl, 37-Camano and 48-Blakely series if you prefer buying the bar and posts as one set.

The BBN2004/30 carries a single 30-inch bar. For more hanging capacity in the same wall footprint, the Emtek Traditional Brass double towel bar and the Emtek Sandcast Bronze brass double towel bar both put two bars on one mounting, which doubles capacity without widening the run. A longer single bar is the other route: the Orca Hardware 48 Series Blakely towel bar set gives you a longer span instead of a second tier.

The BBN2004/30 belongs to Deltana's BBN bathroom accessory series in zinc and aluminum. For a squarer profile, the Delaney Cascade 300 Series towel bar is offered in a square version, and the Emtek Modern Brass towel bar and Emtek Transitional Brass towel bar sit in Emtek's modern and transitional bath hardware lines. Note the Cascade square item is a bar only rather than a complete bar and post assembly.
