It's an undermount sink, so it mounts beneath the countertop and needs a solid-surface top (stone, quartz, solid surface) cut with a finished under-edge. There is no deck or rim to rest on a laminate cutout, so it is not a drop-in substitute.

The bowl measures 23-1/2 x 21 x 10 inches overall, so plan on a 30-inch sink base at minimum; a 24-inch cabinet will not take a 21-inch front-to-back dimension plus the mounting clips and rim overlap. The 10-inch bowl depth also has to clear the drain and trap inside the cabinet, so check your disposal height if you are running one.

It's the bowl only. As an undermount, faucet holes are drilled in the countertop, not the sink, so the faucet, drain assembly and any strainer or disposal flange are separate purchases. Set your faucet hole layout off the 23-1/2 inch bowl width when you spec the top.

The bowl is 18 gauge stainless steel, which is the thicker of the two common residential gauges (18 vs 22) and resists denting and drumming better. Deltana lists this one as residential rather than commercial, so it suits apartments, condos and single-family turns rather than a commercial kitchen or food service line.

A 10-inch bowl sits lower in the cabinet than a standard 8-inch sink, which can crowd the P-trap, especially with a disposer. Measure from your finished counter height down to the existing drain stub-out: with 10 inches of bowl plus the drain body you generally want the stub-out low enough to keep a downhill run to the trap arm. Repiping the stub-out is the usual fix if it is too high.

The finish is brushed stainless steel, a directional satin that pairs with brushed nickel and stainless appliances and hides water spots and scratches better than a mirror polish. Only the one finish is offered on this model.
