Handed, yes. Every ZLLS2 is ordered as either Left Hand or Right Hand, and both come in all four finishes, so the hand is a separate choice from the finish. Stand on the outside of the door (the side you push from into the room): if the hinges are on your left, it's left hand. Get it wrong and the lever points the wrong way on the rose.

Privacy function means it locks from the inside without a key, for bathrooms and bedrooms. There's no keyway on the outside, so it's not a lock for an exterior or entry door.
