Detex Wide Stile Lever Trim – Heavy-Duty Exterior Trim for Exit Devices (Various Functions & Finishes Available)

The Detex Wide Stile Lever Trim series offers a rugged and secure solution for exterior access control in demanding environments. Engineered with durability and flexibility in mind, these trims are designed to integrate seamlessly with a wide range of Detex exit devices, including the 10 Series Rim, 20/21 Series Surface Vertical Rods, and with proper adapters, the 30 Series Mortise and 70-83 Series Concealed Vertical Rod Devices.

These trims feature a break-away lever mechanism, a unique vandal-resistant innovation that protects the integrity of the hardware. If subjected to excessive force, the lever disengages internally and drops down to prevent permanent damage. It can then be reset manually, ensuring ongoing functionality and minimizing maintenance and replacement costs.

Installation and retrofitting are made simple thanks to compatibility with the BP1 mounting plate, and function changes can be accomplished without removing the exit device—saving time and labor. Anti-microbial (AM) coatings are also available, offering an additional layer of protection for healthcare and high-contact environments.

• 14: Passage – Always active; entry via knob or lever, no key required.

• EU: Electrified Trim – Electric lock/unlock (Fail Secure or Fail Safe). Note: Specify handing; not field reversible.
