    Excellent steel material, and very good duranodic coating. One drawback is that the mounting screws did not match up with the hole placement our backing plate, not the size (screws provided were too wide for the screw holes in our backing plate). The related drawback is that when replacing, or upgrading the strike plate, installers need a new backing plate. That backing plate should be listed as a recommended accessory.
