1) Is the Dorma CL701 an actual working lockset or just a dummy lever?
The CL701 is a single dummy trim, so there is no latch and no working chassis behind it. The lever is fixed and mounts on one face of the door only. Use it on the inactive leaf of a pair, on a closet or cabinet door held by a ball catch or magnetic catch, or anywhere you need the lever look to match without any latching. If you need a lever that actually retracts a latch on a hall or closet door, order the operating passage function from the CL700 family instead.
2) Will a Dorma CL701 dummy lever match the other CL700 locks already on my doors?
