1) Is the DORMA 7305 strong enough for an exterior entrance door?
Size 5 is the spring power here, and it is fixed, not adjustable. That is toward the top of the standard 1 through 6 range, so it suits a wide or heavy door, an exterior opening, or one that sees wind and stack pressure. The trade-off with a fixed size is that you have to pick right the first time: on a narrow interior office door a size 5 will feel heavy and can push you out of the opening force limits. For those doors, order the smaller size in the same 7300 family instead.
2) Do I need to order a left hand or right hand version of the DORMA 7305?
