1) I'm replacing a cylindrical lockset on a 161 prep door. Will the E-Plex E2031 go into the holes that are already there?
Mostly, yes. The E2031 installs on ASA 161 door preparation, the standard bored cylindrical prep, with three additional through bore holes drilled at install. Wood or metal doors both work. So the existing cross bore and latch bore carry over and the three extra holes are the only new drilling. 2) Do I need the 2-3/8 or the 2-3/4 backset on the E-Plex E2031 keypad lock?
