1) I am replacing a mag lock on a glass or narrow frame header and the lock will not sit flat. Does an angle bracket solve that?
That is exactly the case an angle bracket covers. The 4580 gives you a right-angle leg to fasten into the header or frame while presenting a flat face for the 2280, which is how you handle headers with a reveal, a stop in the way, or no usable flat mounting plane. Choose among the 1 x 1, 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 and 1-1/2 x 2 inch leg sizes based on the offset your opening needs.
2) Will the 4580 bracket fit a DynaLock mag lock other than the 2280?
The 4580 is dimensioned for the 2280 at 12-3/4 inches. If you are mounting a different DynaLock magnet, match a bracket to that lock's own body length instead; a 12-3/4 inch bracket under a shorter or longer magnet leaves the mounting holes off.
3) Does the 4580 angle bracket include the mag lock or any wiring?
No. It is bracket only. The 2280 electromagnetic lock, its armature, the power supply and all wiring are ordered separately; the bracket just provides the mounting surface and offset.
