1) Can the B-Line 24329 RTCT CT cabinet be mounted outdoors?
Yes. It is a Type 3R enclosure, which is rated for outdoor use against falling rain, sleet and external ice formation, and it is UL listed. It is not a washdown or dust-tight rating, so for hose-down or heavy dust areas you want a 4 or 4X box instead.
2) Is this a single-phase or three-phase CT cabinet?
The 24329 RTCT is built for single-phase metering. For a three-phase service you need a three-phase CT cabinet sized to the utility's requirements, not this one.
3) Does the B-Line CT cabinet have a hinged door or a lift off cover?
Lift off cover, not a hinged door. The whole front panel comes off for wiring the current transformers, which makes the initial install easier but means you need clear space in front and somewhere to set the cover down during utility inspections.
4) How is the 24329 RTCT CT enclosure mounted?
Surface mount. It hangs on the face of a wall, backboard or pole rather than recessing into the wall, so the full 9 in depth projects out from the mounting surface.
5) What gauge steel and finish is the B-Line CT cabinet, and will it hold up outside?
Body is galvanized steel in 14 gauge, finished in ANSI 61 gray paint. That is the standard utility gray, so it will match the meter sockets and gear already on most service walls, and the galvanized base under the paint is what carries it through outdoor exposure.
