UL Listed, yes. That is the rating carried on the cover itself, which is what an inspector or facility spec reviewer will ask for on an open wire basket cable tray installation.

Open basket tray works fine electrically without a cover. You add covers where falling debris and dust are the problem: under overhead work, in ceiling plenums above equipment, in kitchens and shops, or in data halls where you want the cable bundles kept clean. The Flextray cover is a steel debris and dust shield, not a raceway wall, so it is a housekeeping and cable protection item rather than a code-driven enclosure.

Pre-galvanized zinc steel is a dry indoor finish. It suits ceiling spaces, electrical rooms, telecom rooms and data halls. For exterior runs, washdown areas or corrosive environments, specify a hot dip galvanized or stainless Flextray cover instead, since pre-galvanized sheet has cut edges that are left bare after fabrication.

The cover section itself is what ships. Retention hardware for wire basket covers is a separate line item, so add Flextray cover clips to the order at the spacing your spec calls for, plus clips at every cut section and at each end of a run where the cover would otherwise lift.
