B-Line Eaton series Grip Strut eight diamond plank, 120" Grating length, 18.75" Grating width, Aluminum, 3" Channel size, Grip Strut, .080" Thick

The plank has a 3 inch channel, and the overall height is 3 inches. The turned-down sides act as the structural legs, so the plank bears on your support steel at the channel edges rather than sitting flat. Allow 3 inches of vertical space between the top of the supports and your finished walking surface.

The plank is listed as OSHA compliant. The eight diamond serrated openings give the slip resistance, and the pattern drains liquid and debris rather than holding it on the surface, which is what keeps the footing non-slip in oil, water or ice conditions.

It's aluminum, 14 gauge. That's the material you want where corrosion is the concern, wash-down areas, coastal or chemical exposure, and it keeps the plank light enough for one person to place a 10 foot section by hand. If you need the higher load capacity of steel, aluminum is the wrong pick.

Grip Strut is a one-piece formed plank with punched and serrated diamond openings, so the walking surface is continuous and the turned-down channel sides carry the span. That suits catwalks, platforms, stair treads and equipment access walkways where slip resistance is the priority. Bar grating is the alternative when you need heavier point loads or larger free area for airflow. This eight diamond plank is the wider pattern, 18.75 inches across, for main walkways rather than narrow access strips.

The 83012 10 AL is supplied as the plank itself. Hold-down clips, saddle clips or bolts to secure it to your support steel are ordered separately, so add the attachment hardware to the order along with the planks.
