This B-Line four diamond plank is a one-piece formed steel channel with a punched, raised diamond surface that sheds debris and grips underfoot, and it drops onto supports as a 9.5 inch wide walking section. Bar grating is a welded assembly of bearing bars and is usually specified for heavier point loads and larger open areas. Choose the plank where you want a light, fast-to-install non-slip walking surface around equipment.
5) Can Grip Strut plank be cut to length in the field?
Yes, the steel plank can be cut down from its 144 inch length on site with a saw or torch. Keep in mind the finish is mill-galvanized, so any cut end exposes bare steel. Hit those cuts with a cold galvanizing compound if the walkway sees any moisture.
