The plank is steel with a mill-galvanized finish, which is the standard choice for exterior and damp interior locations like rooftop equipment access, cooling tower platforms, and process areas. Mill-galvanized means the coating is on the coil before forming, so cut ends are raw steel. Touch up field cuts with a zinc-rich coating if the environment is corrosive.
