The end fitting is a bolt with M6 thread, so it lands in any M6 tapped hole or M6 nut on the fixture or enclosure you are hanging. If your fixture is prepped for imperial thread (1/4-20 or 3/8-16) or needs a loop, hook, or Y-toggle end instead, this is the wrong termination for that opening.
2) Can I hang light fixtures with this without drilling into the deck or structure?
That is what the KwikWire system is for: installation without drilling into the existing structure. The cable is anchored to available structure and the M6 bolt end picks up the fixture, so you avoid coring or anchoring into concrete deck. It also cuts out sawing, filing, and fixing nuts that rod hanging requires, it is assembly only.
