Bend radius is driven by the minimum bending radius of the cable you are pulling, not by the tray. A 24 inch radius, as on the 4A-06-30HB24, gives large power and medium-voltage conductors a gentle sweep and keeps pulling tension down through the turn. If your cable allows a tighter turn and you are short on space, order the same 30 degree bend in a smaller radius; if you are running heavy MV feeders, check the cable's minimum radius before assuming 24 inches is enough.

It is aluminum. That gives you a lighter fitting (4.855 lb for this 6 inch bend) and natural corrosion resistance without plating or paint, which is why aluminum tray gets specified for outdoor runs, wash-down areas, and coastal sites. Keep the run consistent: mixing aluminum fittings into a steel tray system creates dissimilar metal contact at the splice plates and complicates bonding.

It carries CSA certification, so it can be used on work inspected to Canadian electrical code requirements. Confirm the approval covers the tray class your specification calls for on that project.

The 4A-06-30HB24 is supplied as the bend fitting itself. Splice plates, bolts, and any hanger or trapeze support at the turn are separate items you order alongside it. Plan on support near each end of a bend, since a fitting is not a load-carrying span on its own.
