Plan the routing around a 24 inch inside radius and an overall fitting length of 29.25 inches. That radius is what governs the sweep on the plan view, and it also sets the minimum bend radius the conductors see, which matters when you are pulling large power cable that has its own bend radius limit. If your ceiling space or wall offset can't take a 24 inch sweep, you need a shorter radius fitting, not this one.

It's aluminum. That keeps the fitting light at 7.883 lb, so one electrician can hold it up at the splice plates without a second pair of hands, and it holds up better than plain steel in damp or corrosive areas. Aluminum tray also has to be bonded and grounded per the tray manufacturer's and the NEC's requirements, and you should keep the whole run in one material rather than mixing aluminum fittings into a steel run.

Treat the bend as the fitting only. You'll need splice plates and hardware at each end to tie it into the straight sections, plus support within the distance the tray manufacturer specifies either side of a fitting. Order the splice connectors that match Series 2-5 aluminum tray so the bolt pattern lines up with the side rails.

Specify Eaton B-Line 4A-09-60HB24. Read the number the way it is built: 4 inch rail height, 09 inch width, 60 degree horizontal bend, 24 inch radius. Changing any one of those gives you a different part number, so distributors matching a bill of material should check all four values against the drawing.
