Aluminum. That is the usual pick for corrosive or damp areas and for weight-sensitive runs, since it will not rust the way plain steel does. The fitting weighs 10.6 lb, which is light enough for one person to set on the supports. If your specification calls for hot dip galvanized or stainless steel tray, this is not the matching fitting.
