Plan on 43.375 inches of overall length for this fitting, turning 45 degrees on a 36 inch inside radius. Lay that out before you cut the straight sections either side, because the bend consumes run length and the 36 inch radius sets how much room the cables need to make the turn without exceeding bend radius.

Aluminum. That keeps the fitting light (18.9 lb for a 36 inch wide bend) and gives it better corrosion resistance than plain painted steel, which is why aluminum tray is common in food plants, water treatment, coastal sites and outdoor runs. Mixing aluminum fittings into a steel tray run is not good practice, so match material through the whole system.
