That is exactly what it is sized for. The 6A-12-HT48 is a Series 2-5 horizontal tee built for 12 inch loading width with a 6 inch side rail height, in aluminum. If your straight sections are a different width or a 3, 4 or 5 inch rail height, this fitting will not line up at the splice plates and you need the matching size instead.

Plan for a 57 inch overall length on the fitting. With a 48 inch radius branch, the tee takes up substantially more space than a short-radius fitting, so confirm you have the clear run before the branch takeoff and that hangers can be placed clear of the curve.

The 6A-12-HT48 tee is aluminum, which is the usual pick where weight matters and where mild corrosion resistance is wanted without galvanizing.
