B32 is the 1.37 inch deep profile, so it is the one to pick when headroom is tight, when you are surface mounting to a wall or deck and want a lower projection, or on shorter spans carrying conduit and small pipe. Full depth 1-5/8 by 1-5/8 channel has a deeper section and carries more load over a longer unsupported span. Both take the same 1-5/8 inch fittings, so you can mix profiles on the same job without changing hardware.

S is the slotted back pattern: the channel back is punched with a repeating run of slots along its length rather than left solid. That lets you bolt the channel to structure, or run threaded rod and hardware through the back, anywhere along the stick without drilling on site. If you want an unpunched back for a cleaner look or full section strength, you would order the solid back version of the B32 instead.

DURA GREEN is Eaton B-Line's green painted coating over the steel channel. It is a painted finish, so it is intended for dry indoor service and for locations where a coated surface is acceptable. For sustained exterior exposure, wet process areas, or corrosive environments, specify a hot dip galvanized or stainless B32 instead of the painted version.
