1) Is the 1LWZN lock washer OK for outdoor or damp electrical work?
It's steel with an electro-plated zinc finish. That's a standard indoor/dry-location plating, fine for interior strut and rod hanger assemblies, but it's not a hot-dip galvanized or stainless finish. For exterior, wet, or corrosive locations, specify a galvanized or stainless lock washer instead.
