B-Line Eaton series strut fittings and accessories, 1.64" Height, 1.62" Length, 1.62" Width, .10lbs, Steel, End cap, 12 gauge, Fits channel type B24,

The B223GRN is made for B-Line channel type B24, which is the 1-5/8 inch wide by 1-inch deep back-to-back style channel in the B-Line numbering. The cap itself measures 1.64 inches high by 1.62 by 1.62 inches, so it closes off an opening on that footprint. If your run is a different B-Line channel profile (deeper or wider), you need the cap matched to that channel number instead.

DURA GREEN is Eaton B-Line's green coating applied over the 12 gauge steel body. It gives the cut end of the channel a coated surface rather than leaving bare steel exposed. Use it where the rest of your strut run is DURA GREEN so the caps match the channel; if your channel is plain electro-galvanized or hot dip, order the cap in that finish so the run looks consistent and the coatings behave the same way.

No separate hardware is called out. The B223GRN is a single 12 gauge steel cap, .1 lb, that covers the open end of a B24 channel run. It is sold as one model, B223GRN, so count one cap per exposed channel end and order accordingly for the job.

An end cap closes the open cut end of a strut run so nobody catches a hand on the raw edge and so the inside of the channel stays clear of debris. On exposed overhead electrical and mechanical supports it is also what makes the run look finished. The B-Line B223GRN does that job on B24 channel in a green coated 12 gauge steel body.

Metal. It is steel at 12 gauge with a DURA GREEN coating, not a snap-in plastic cap. That matters if you are specifying for a facility that will not accept plastic closures on exposed supports, or where the cap may take incidental contact.
