B-Line Eaton series strut pipe clamps and accessories, .0625" height, 1.789" length, 1.25" width, 300 lbs, Steel, Pre-assembled combination recess squ

The nut is already on it. The B2024PAZN ships with a pre-assembled combination recess square nut, so the clamp drops into the strut channel and you tighten the 1/4-20 bolt. No separate channel nut or spring nut to buy for the strut connection.

It is an O.D. pipe conduit clamp, so it is selected by the actual outside diameter of the pipe or conduit, not by nominal trade size. Measure the O.D. of what you are hanging and match that to the clamp size before ordering.

Electro-plated zinc is a light indoor-duty coating. It is fine for dry interior work, mechanical rooms and ceiling spaces, but for exterior, damp, washdown or corrosive service you want a hot dip galvanized or stainless clamp instead. The base metal here is steel, so unprotected zinc will eventually rust in standing moisture.

That is the point of it. Individual one-hole or two-hole straps anchor each conduit to the structure separately, which means a fastener and a hole per run. A strut clamp with the combination recess nut slides anywhere along the channel, so you hang one piece of strut and land multiple conduits on it, adjusting spacing without drilling. For a single isolated conduit on a wall, a plain strap is simpler and cheaper.

The fastener is 1/4-20, so a 7/16 inch socket or wrench covers the hex head on a standard 1/4-20 hardware set. Snug the clamp against the conduit without crushing the strut nut into the channel lip.

Listed dimensions are .0625 in height, 1.789 in length/depth and 1.25 in width, at .08 lb each. The 1.25 in width matters most on layout, it tells you how close you can stack clamps side by side on a single piece of strut before they interfere.
