1) Can a NEMA 1 junction box like the B-Line 16124 SCGV NK be installed outdoors or in a wet area?
No. The 16124 SCGV NK carries a NEMA Type 1 rating, which is indoor use only and offers no protection against rain, washdown, dust or oil.
