B-LINE 121260 HSNK – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Is the Eaton B-Line 121260 HSNK wireway rated for outdoor or wet locations?
No. The 121260 HSNK is a NEMA 1 wireway, which is general purpose indoor only. It gives you protection against incidental contact and falling dirt, not rain, washdown, or dust. For an outdoor run or a washdown area you need a NEMA 3R or NEMA 4 raintight/watertight wireway instead, and swapping enclosure types mid-run means the fittings change too.
2) Does the B-Line 121260 HSNK wireway come with knockouts for conduit?
No knockouts. The body ships blank, so you punch or drill every conduit entry where you want it. That is usually what a contractor wants on a feeder trough, but it means a step knockout punch or hole saw needs to be on the truck, and you should plan entries before mounting.
3) What gauge steel is the B-Line HSNK wireway, and what is the finish?
14 gauge steel, painted ANSI 61 gray. That is the standard light gray used on most switchgear and panelboards, so a run of this trough matches existing gear in an industrial or electrical room without repainting.
4) Is this B-Line wireway acceptable for a job in Canada?
It carries CSA C22.2 certification, so it is suitable for work under the Canadian Electrical Code as well as US installations. Note the enclosure type is NEMA 1, general purpose indoor.
5) Do I get couplings and end plates with this wireway section?
The 121260 HSNK is the trough section with its hinged cover and plated cover screws. Couplings, connectors, end plates, elbows, and hangers are separate items, so count your joints and terminations and add 12 x 12 fittings to the order to close out both ends of the run.
How fast can I get the B-LINE 121260 HSNK delivered?
