It is built to NEMA 3R, so it is rated for outdoor use against falling rain and sleet, not for washdown or dust-tight locations. The steel body is finished in ANSI 61 gray and the cover seals against a flange with plated screws, which is what gives it the 3R rating. For wet-location or hosedown areas you need a 4 or 4X enclosure instead.

No knockouts. The 4496 GRT NK ships blank, so every conduit entry gets punched or drilled on site where you want it. That is the point of the NK version: on a run with mixed conduit sizes or nonstandard entry points, you are not fighting factory knockouts in the wrong place. If you would rather have the holes pre-made, order a knockout version of the trough instead.

It is a screw cover, not hinged. The lid sits on a flange and is held by plated screws along its length, so you remove the screws to open it. Fine for a gutter you pull once and close up; if you expect to get back into it often, a hinged cover trough is the easier choice.

The catalog number is 4496 GRT NK from Eaton B-Line. The 44 is the 4x4 cross section, 96 is the length in inches, and NK means no knockouts. Quote that number exactly, since the knockout version of the same size is a different part.

The finish is ANSI 61 gray, the standard gray used on most commercial electrical enclosures and panel gear, so a run of these will read as the same color as typical switchgear and disconnects on the wall. Screws are plated.
