Yes. The Crouse-Hinds straight LFMC connectors carry a Class I, Division 2 NEC hazardous rating, so they're suited to areas where flammable gas or vapor is only present under abnormal conditions. If your drawing calls out Division 1, this is the wrong part, a Division 2 rating does not cover Division 1. The connectors are built to NEC/CEC standards, which is what most plant and refinery specs reference.
2) What trade sizes do Crouse-Hinds LT straight liquidtight connectors come in?
Eleven trade sizes in the uninsulated LT line: 3/8 inch (LT38), 1/2 (LT50), 3/4 (LT75), 1 (LT100), 1-1/4 (LT125), 1-1/2 (LT150), 2 (LT200), 2-1/2 (LT250), 3 (LT300), 3-1/2 (LT350) and 4 inch (LT400). Order the size that matches your flexible conduit trade size, not the wire count.
3) What is the difference between the Crouse-Hinds LT and LTB liquidtight connectors?
The LTB numbers are the insulated throat version, the plain LT numbers are not insulated. Insulated throat is what most inspectors and specs want when you're pulling conductors directly through the connector, since it protects the insulation at the bushing edge. LTB is offered in 1/2 (LTB50), 3/4 (LTB75), 1 (LTB100), 1-1/4 (LTB125), 1-1/2 (LTB150) and 4 inch (LTB400). If you need 2, 2-1/2, 3 or 3-1/2 inch, the uninsulated LT200 through LT350 are the sizes offered.
4) Will a Crouse-Hinds LT connector work with liquidtight flexible metal conduit?
Yes, that's exactly what these are for. The LT series is a straight connector for FMC, flexible metallic conduit, terminating liquidtight flex into a box, enclosure or fitting. It won't terminate rigid, EMT or nonmetallic flex, those take their own fitting types.
5) Do I need a sealing fitting with a Class I Division 2 liquidtight connector?
The connector itself is rated Class I, Division 2 and built to NEC/CEC, but it is not a seal. Boundary and enclosure seals are a separate fitting and a separate line item on the NEC, so a Division 2 install still gets sealed where the code and your area classification drawing say it does. Order the connector for the termination, and seals separately.
6) Which Crouse-Hinds part number is the 3/4 inch insulated liquidtight connector?
LTB75 is the 3/4 inch straight liquidtight connector with the insulated throat. The uninsulated 3/4 inch is LT75. Both are the same straight malleable iron body, the B is what tells you the throat is insulated.
7) Can I use these Crouse-Hinds connectors in a normal, non-hazardous industrial area?
