1) I need to feed two conductors per phase into a 4 terminal meter socket. Is there a double barrel lug for that?
Yes. ARP00427CH is the double barrel lug kit, taking two conductors each #6-350 kcmil, and it is made specifically for 4 terminal sockets with 3/8 inch studs. Note that it is the 4 terminal kit only, unlike the single barrel kits which also cover 5 and 7 terminal sockets.
2) What is the difference between an Eaton hub and a hub closure plate for a meter socket?
A hub gives you a threaded opening to land conduit on the socket, in sizes from 1-1/4 inch (ARP01612CH) up through 2 inch, 2-1/2 inch and 3 inch (ARP00019CH3). A closure plate covers or blanks the hub opening instead, and the clam shell versions such as ARP00002CHBCS and ARP00008CH close the opening on a single socket. Order the hub if conduit is entering there, the closure plate if it is not.
3) I need to convert a 4 jaw meter socket to 5 jaw for a network service. Which Eaton kit does that?
ARP00035CHJ is the fifth jaw kit. If the socket is a 320 A offset type, use ARP00862CH instead, which is the fifth jaw kit built for that socket. For Chicago and Wisconsin pedestal applications, the correct part is ARP01085CH. The three are not interchangeable, so identify the socket style before ordering.
4) Will the Eaton neutral insulating kit work on any meter socket?
