If your breaker is a different Eaton frame or another manufacturer's, this is not the part.
2) What control voltage does this Eaton undervoltage release need?
It is rated 110-127V control voltage, which covers standard 120V control power. Feed it from the control circuit you want monitored: when that voltage drops below the rated threshold the release trips the breaker open. If your control power is 24V, 48V or 208-240V, you need a different voltage version of the release, not this one.
3) Does it matter which side of the breaker the undervoltage release goes in?
Yes. This one is the left-hand version and ships with left-hand mounting hardware, so it seats in the left accessory cavity of the breaker. Series G breakers typically carry more than one accessory pocket, so if you already have a shunt trip or auxiliary switch in the left pocket, plan the layout before you order or you will end up with two parts fighting for the same slot.

The breaker has to come out and be de-energized to fit an internal accessory, and you will need the left accessory pocket free since this is the left-hand mount version.

Left-hand mounting hardware is supplied with the release, so there is no separate hardware kit to add. What you do need to plan for is the control wiring run from your 110-127V control source to the release, which is field work and not part of the accessory.
