1) Can the Elevate vanity light be installed with the glass facing up instead of down?
Yes, it mounts either way. The Elevate three-light bar can be installed with the etched white glass facing up for a softer ambient wash or facing down for direct task light at the sink. There is no separate up-mount kit to order, the same fixture does both. It is a wall-mount fixture only, so it is not a ceiling or convertible flush-mount option.
2) Is this bath bar rated for a bathroom with a shower, or do I need a wet location fixture?
The Elevate three-light bath bar is cULus listed for damp locations, which covers normal bathroom and vanity use including the moisture of a shower room. It is not wet location rated, so do not install it inside a shower or tub enclosure where it would take direct spray. For that position you need a fixture specifically marked wet location.
3) What bulbs does the Progress Elevate P300022-015 take, and are they included?
Three E26 medium base lamps, up to 100 watts each, and no bulbs are included in the carton. The sockets are ceramic, so they handle the heat of incandescent lamps, but you can run standard medium base LED or CFL replacements as long as you stay at or under the 100W maximum marked on the fixture. Order lamps separately for every unit on a multi-unit job.
4) What mounting hardware comes with this vanity light and what do I need on site?
A mounting strap for the outlet box is supplied, and the fixture is prewired with 6-inch leads, so an electrician needs only a standard 120V wall box, wire nuts and the usual ground connection. At 4.6 pounds the fixture does not exceed NEC weight limits for an outlet box, so no extra bracing or fixture-rated support box is required. Bulbs are not in the box.

6) Will the polished chrome finish on this Elevate bath bar match my existing chrome faucets and towel bars?
The finish is a plated polished chrome, the bright mirror-type chrome that reads as a match alongside standard polished chrome faucets, shower trim and accessories. Body construction is steel under the plating. For a property manager standardizing a building, the model number to repeat for this finish is P300022-015, so every unit comes out the same.
7) Is the short wire lead on this fixture a problem if my box is recessed or off-center?
