Emtek 2707 Tuscany Bronze Double Hook

Screws are included. The 2707 Tuscany double hook ships as a complete set with its fasteners, so nothing extra is needed for a normal surface mount into a stud or a suitably anchored substrate. It is a surface mount hook, so it fastens to the face of the door or wall rather than needing any prep or cutout.

Emtek classes the 2707 as residential. For apartment turns, model units, custom homes, and hospitality guest rooms that is the right call. For a school corridor, a locker room, a gym, or a public restroom where the hook takes daily abuse and has to meet a facility standard, look at the Trimco line instead: the Trimco 3070-1 coat and hat hook and the Trimco 7010 fOCAL robe hook and stop are institutional-duty parts. The 7010 also doubles as a door stop, which is worth knowing if you are trying to cut a part off the order.

It is built for exactly that. The 2707 belongs to Emtek's Tuscany series in the Tuscany Bronze collection, so it is the companion hook to Tuscany knobs and levers rather than a generic accessory. Match on finish code as well as series: order FB with flat black Tuscany trim and MB with medium bronze.

The 2707 is a surface mount hook fastened with the screws in the box, so it can go on a door face, a stile, or a wall with no boring or backplate prep. On a hollow core door or bare drywall the screws provided will not hold a loaded double hook on their own. Hit a stud, a rail, or blocking, or swap to a hollow wall anchor rated for the load.

The Emtek 2707 Tuscany double hook is a brass, surface mount hook sold as a complete set with screws. For a two-prong brass hook from another maker, the Deltana 55D2010 is a double robe hook in the 55D Series, solid brass, and the Deltana 88DRH is a double robe hook in the 88 Series, also solid brass. Both hold garments on two points the way the 2707 does, in the same solid brass material.

The Emtek 2707 is a double hook, so every position takes two garments. If the wall space or the application calls for one prong, the Deltana BBN2009 is a single robe hook in the BBN Series. The Orca Hardware 2753 Cypress robe hook and the Orca Hardware 3654 Swirl robe hook are also single robe hooks. Ordering a single instead of the 2707 changes how many garments each mounting point carries.

The Emtek 2707 Tuscany double hook is designated residential. For a commercial opening, the Trimco 3070-1 is a coat and hat hook in the 3070 Series, and the Trimco 7010 is a fOCAL robe hook and stop in the 7010 Series - the 7010 combines the hook with a door stop function, which the 2707 does not do. Institutional and MRO buyers standardizing a facility typically look at the Trimco parts rather than the Emtek decorative line.

Two finishes: Flat Black (FB) and Medium Bronze (MB), ordered as 2707FB and 2707MB. Those are the only two, so if you are matching an existing Emtek Tuscany opening in a lighter or brighter finish, the 2707 will not pair to it and you would want a hook from a different Emtek collection.

A double hook like the 2707 gives you two arms off one mounting footprint, which is what you want behind a bath or bedroom door where a towel and a robe both need to hang, or in an entry where two coats share one plate. A single hook takes less wall and reads cleaner in a row of several. If a single is the better fit for your layout, the Deltana BBN2009 is a single robe hook. Other doubles worth comparing on style are the Deltana BBS2010, the Orca Hardware 4854 Blakely, and the Orca Hardware 4954 Whidbey.

Finish is the only choice to make. Order 2707FB for flat black or 2707MB for medium bronze, and the hook arrives as a complete set with screws. There is no handing, no backset, and no separate mounting kit to add.

The Emtek 2707 belongs to the Tuscany series and comes in Flat Black and Medium Bronze. If that styling does not suit, other double-prong hooks carry different design themes: the Orca Hardware 4854 Blakely double robe hook in the 48-Blakely Series, the Orca Hardware 4954 Whidbey double robe hook in the 49-Whidbey Series, and the Deltana BBS2010 double robe hook in the BBS Series. Each holds two garments per mounting point like the 2707 while presenting a different look.

No. The Trimco 7010 is a fOCAL robe hook and stop - it serves as a door stop in addition to a hook, so it is placed with the door swing in mind rather than purely for garment storage. The Emtek 2707 is a surface mount double hook only, sold as a complete set with screws. Swapping the 7010 in changes both the number of hook prongs and the function the part performs at the opening.

Style and family, mainly. The 2707 is Emtek's Tuscany bronze design in flat black or medium bronze, meant to suite with Tuscany door trim. Orca's are separate design series you would pick for their own look: the 2753 Cypress and 3654 Swirl are single robe hooks, while the 4854 Blakely and 4954 Whidbey are doubles like the 2707. If you are not matching Emtek trim elsewhere in the house, any of them will hang a robe, so pick on appearance.

Not necessarily. The Emtek 2707 is a double hook, meaning two prongs on one brass body. The Trimco 3070-1 is a coat and hat hook in the 3070 Series - a coat and hat hook is built to take a garment and a hat, which is a different prong arrangement from a double robe hook such as the Deltana 88DRH in the 88 Series. If a buyer is matching what is already mounted on other doors, confirm which of the two forms is on the wall before ordering.
