The Emtek Select Faceted hinge tips are sold to match a specific hinge size and duty, so you pick the tip that matches what's on the door: 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 residential duty, 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 heavy duty plain or ball bearing, 4 x 4 residential duty, 4 x 4 heavy duty plain or ball bearing, or one option covering 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 and 5 x 5 heavy duty plain or ball bearing hinges. Measure the hinge leaf on the door and check whether the barrel is a plain/ball bearing heavy duty hinge or a residential one before choosing, because a residential-duty tip won't seat on a heavy duty barrel.
