Each end terminal is drilled with a 4-hole pattern, which is the standard bolted bus pad arrangement. Confirm your bus pad hole spacing and bolt size match the braid terminal drilling before you order, because a 4-hole braid will not land on a 2-hole pad without an adapter plate.

It's an extra flexible braid connector used to make a current-carrying connection between two rigid bus or equipment terminals that need to move relative to each other, such as switchgear, disconnect blades, transformer bushings, and bus expansion joints. The conductor is a flat tin-plated copper braid, so it flexes with thermal expansion and vibration where solid bar would fatigue or transmit stress. It is built to IEEE/ANSI C37.34, the standard for high-voltage air switches.

The conductor is tin-plated copper. The tin plating is what lets it be used at aluminum bus joints without the galvanic corrosion you'd get from bare copper on aluminum, and it slows oxidation of the contact surface on outdoor and high-humidity installations.
