1) Will the Falcon 25-V surface vertical rod exit device fit a 1-3/4 inch door?
That is the only thickness it is built for. The 25-V is a single-thickness device rated for 1-3/4 inch doors, which is the standard commercial door thickness, so on a 1-3/8 inch older interior door it is the wrong part. It is a wide stile device, so the door needs a wide stile to carry the case. Plan on 2-3/4 inches of projection off the face of the door for push pad clearance.
2) Can I use the Falcon 25-V on a fire rated door assembly?
