The Glimmer P5321-134 pendant body is 23.875 inches tall and 22.25 inches in diameter. It ships with 72 inches of chain, so the maximum overall drop is 99 inches with all the chain used. Remove chain links to shorten it; at minimum drop you are down to roughly the 23.875 inch fixture height plus the canopy. Supply wire is 120 inches, long enough to follow the full chain run.
2) Does the 34 lb Glimmer pendant need a fan-rated or heavy-duty box, or will a standard outlet box hold it?
At 34.1 lb, the Glimmer pendant is flagged as not exceeding NEC limits for a standard outlet box, and the mounting strap for the outlet box is included.
