Metallics 125NG – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Metallics 125NG a neoprene or rubber gasket?
Neoprene, abbreviated NPRN in the Metallics description. It is an electrical supply item rather than a plumbing or door seal, so specify it where the drawing calls for a neoprene gasket at that 1-21/32 x 2-1/16 inch size.
2) Is the Metallics 125NG gasket sold individually or in a pack?
One piece per order. If you are gasketing several boxes or fittings on a job, count them up and order that quantity, since there is no multi-pack configuration under model 125NG.
3) What is the manufacturer part number for the Metallics neoprene gasket, and are there other sizes under the same model?
Metallics lists it as part number 125NG, and that is the only model offered under it. Distributors cross-referencing a bill of material should match on 125NG plus the 1-21/32 x 2-1/16 inch neoprene size.
