1) Which Houzer sinks does the CB-1800 cutting board fit?
The CB-1800 is cut to fit Houzer models CF-1830 and SCF-1830. It is sized to those bowls specifically, so it is not a general-purpose board for any sink opening. If your sink is a different Houzer model or another brand, this one will not seat correctly on the ledge.
2) Will the CB-1800 board work on an undermount sink, or only topmount?
Both. The board is reversible, and each side is shaped so it sits correctly on either an undermount or a topmount bowl. You flip it depending on how the sink is installed, so one part number covers both installation types on the CF-1830 and SCF-1830.
3) Is a sink grid or bottom rinse grid included with the CB-1800?
No. CB-1800 ships as the cutting board by itself. A bottom grid to protect the sink floor is a separate accessory and has to be ordered on its own line, so if you are outfitting a full kitchen sink package, budget for both.
4) What wood is the Houzer CB-1800 made from?
Rubberwood, a closed-grain hardwood. Houzer calls it their Endura hardwood board. Like any solid wood board it wants hand washing and periodic oiling rather than a trip through the dishwasher, which matters if you are speccing it into a rental or hospitality kitchen where staff turnover is high.
5) Does the Houzer CB-1800 come in more than one color or finish?
