Houzer SPD-155-OB – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What size hole does the Houzer SPD-155 soap dispenser need in the sink or countertop?
Houzer publishes the dispenser's overall size rather than a bore: 3-3/4" L x 1-3/4" W x 2-5/8" D, with a 2-1/2 inch base-to-top-of-neck height above the deck and 2-5/8 inch base to spout. It drops into a standard sink accessory hole alongside the faucet, so use the existing soap/air-gap knockout on a multi-hole sink deck.
2) What finishes does the Houzer SPD-155 Endura soap dispenser come in?
Two finishes: Polished Chrome (SPD-155-PC) and Oil Rubbed Bronze (SPD-155-OB). If you're matching an existing Houzer faucet on the same deck, order the finish code that matches the faucet, since the pump head and spout are the only visible parts once installed.
3) Is the Houzer SPD-155 dispenser metal or plastic?
The dispenser body is brass, finished in chrome or oil rubbed bronze. The reservoir bottle under the counter is food grade plastic. Brass above deck is what holds up in a rental kitchen or a commercial break room where the pump gets hit all day.
4) Can the spout be turned toward the sink basin after it's installed?
Yes, the SPD-155 head swivels a full 360 degrees, so you can aim the spout into the bowl regardless of which deck hole you mount it in. The spout reaches 3-3/4 inches from the middle of the neck, which is what clears the sink rim on most drop-in and undermount installs.
5) Where is the Houzer Endura SPD-155 made?
Israel. Houzer manufactures in its own ISO certified factories there, and the SPD-155 belongs to the Endura collection.
