1) What wire gauge does the Sta-Kon RC1153 fork terminal take?
The RC1153 is sized for 12-10 AWG stranded copper wire, which is why the insulation is yellow. Yellow is the standard color code for the 12-10 AWG range on insulated terminals, so if your conductor is 16-14 AWG you want a blue-barrel terminal instead, and 22-18 AWG takes a red one. Crimping a 14 AWG conductor into this barrel will not hold.
2) Is the Sta-Kon RC1153 UL listed, and what voltage is it rated for?
It carries UL file E9809 and is rated 600 V, which covers standard control panel, lighting, and motor-circuit terminations in commercial and industrial work.
3) Should I use a fork terminal or a ring terminal on my terminal strip?
A fork terminal like the RC1153 has an open tongue, so you can loosen the screw and slip the connector off without pulling the screw out of the block. That saves time on panel service and on crowded terminal strips. A ring terminal is captive and cannot vibrate off, so it is the better choice for vibration-prone or safety-critical connections such as battery and ground studs. For both styles here the screw size is No. 10.
4) Is the barrel on this terminal copper or aluminum, and can I use it on aluminum conductors?
The conductor barrel is copper. That makes it a copper-only connector, so use it with copper wire. Aluminum conductors require a connector marked AL or AL9CU to avoid a dissimilar-metal connection.

Yes. It is an insulated barrel terminal in the 12-10 AWG range, so it needs an insulated-terminal crimp tool with the yellow (12-10) nest. A die sized for a smaller color code will under- or over-compress the barrel. Uninsulated crimp dies are not appropriate for a nylon-sleeved terminal.

The insulation is nylon rather than vinyl. Nylon sleeves resist abrasion and cut-through better when conductors are pulled through a panel or bundled tightly, and they take crimp pressure without splitting. The insulation is yellow for the 12-10 AWG size.
