4) Is the Ives 07A a keyed window lock?

6) Is the Ives 07A solid brass, or is the brass just a finish?
The body and keeper are cast aluminum on every 07A. Finishes such as 666 bright brass and 643E aged bronze are applied over that aluminum, not solid brass or bronze castings, so what you are matching is the color, not the base metal. If a job calls for a solid brass window lock, the 07A is not it. If it calls for a commercial sash lock certified to ANSI/BHMA 156.16, L33121 in a brass-look finish, it is.
7) Will the Ives 07A cover the screw holes left by the sash lock I am replacing?
