1) Will the Ives 962 flush pull work on a pocket door or a sliding bypass door?
That's exactly what the 962 rectangle flush pull is for. It mounts flush into the door face so nothing protrudes past the surface, which is what lets a pocket door pass into the wall pocket and lets bypass panels slide past each other. The black painted finger pocket gives you something to hook a finger into to pull the panel out. It is a pull only, so there is no latching or privacy function with it.
2) Is the Ives 962 flush pull rated for commercial use or is it a residential part?
Commercial. The 962 is built on a brass substrate and meets ANSI/BHMA A156.9 and A156.14, which are the standards that cover architectural door trim and sliding/folding door hardware. That's the pairing a spec writer or an institutional buyer is looking for on a school, healthcare or office job where residential-grade trim won't pass the submittal.
3) Does the Ives 962 come with screws, or do I need to buy fasteners separately?
Fasteners are in the box. The 962 ships with concealed 8 x 3/4 inch oval head Phillips screws sized for wood doors. Those are the only fasteners supplied, so if you are mounting into metal or a composite panel you'll be sourcing your own fastener for that substrate.
4) What finishes does the Ives 962 flush pull come in?
Two finishes: 613 satin bronze oil-rubbed and 626 satin chrome. If you're matching existing hardware in a building, 626 is the one that lines up with the satin chrome levers, closers and exit hardware most commercial jobs are already specified in, and 613 is the darker oil-rubbed bronze look for interiors specified that way. Order by the finish suffix, 962-613 or 962-626.

The 962 is a single flush pull, and a pocket door needs a pull on the room side to close it plus one on the opposite face to pull it back out of the pocket, so a single leaf normally takes two.
