1) Will the Kaba Ilco 4016 header bolt work on a pair of aluminum storefront doors?
That's exactly what the 4016 header bolt is for. It gives you two-point locking on a double door: turning the deadbolt throws the bolt up into the header on the active leaf, so the leaf is held at the top as well as at the lock. The bolt attaches to the front slot of the deadbolt, so you need a deadbolt with that slot already in the opening.
2) What backset do I order the Ilco 4016 header bolt in?
